Sanaa Cafe - Tacoma: Authentic Yemeni Café with Cozy Vibes and Unique Pastries

Really nice spot — the food and atmosphere are great, and the service has been friendly both times I’ve visited. The Adeni tea is a bit of a hit or miss right now; I’ve had to ask them to adjust it a couple of times, but once they get it right, it’s genuinely excellent. It’s a newer café, so I totally understand they’re still fine-tuning things. It’s also one of the first Yemeni cafés in Washington State, which makes it really special to see. I’m rooting for them to grow and refine their menu even more. Both times I came, they were out of quite a few pastries — especially the honeycomb bread I was hoping to try — but I’ll definitely be back for it once it’s available.

I’ve been to this place about 3 times now and I’ve loved it every time. The iced brown sugar latte is amazing. My husband loves the hot chocolate. We both got some cake slices and they were so delicious! We didn’t catch the cashiers name but she was SO friendly!

The most delightful cafe experience I've ever had. No more expensive than any other café, they provide all the bells and whistles that other places seem to have given up on. The truly hospitable atmosphere and their skilled and welcoming employees makes it the perfect place to retreat from the rain. I had a deliciously nutty pistachio latte and a Dubai cake which featured a hard chocolate shell and the barista presented it beautifully! The rose milk cake melted in my mouth and the floral aftertaste was unmistakable-- a rare experience for me. I will be back!

My friend found this café on TikTok and decided to check it out, and I’m so glad we did. The moment we walked in, the workers were incredibly warm, welcoming, and patient with all our questions about the menu. They explained everything so kindly from the drinks to the pastries and made us feel so comfortable trying new things. The vibes inside are so aesthetic. It’s bright, clean, cozy, and perfect for taking cute pictures (which I definitely did). The food and drinks were honestly delicious, and the prices were super reasonable for the quality. They even surprised us with something on the house, which made the experience feel even more special. Overall, I had such a good time here. Great environment, great people, great food. I would 100% recommend stopping by Sana’a Café if you’re in Tacoma it’s definitely a gem and I’ll be going back.

If you love coffee & tea with an added unique experience GO TRY THEM. The cafe’s overall vibe is inviting, modern, & cozy. I was highly impressed with their traditional coffee brewing methods. I was welcomed with warmth and knowledge of the menu from Roedah, she suggested delicious options and took her time. I appreciated that greatly since I wasn’t familiar with the menu. My daughter & I loved the savory pastries the most, everything was truly amazing.

Amazing customer service at Sana Caffe! I ordered two drinks and was accidentally given one at first. When I let them know, they immediately apologized and gave me the second drink for free without any hesitation. The staff was kind, respectful, and truly cared about making it right. This kind of honesty and customer care is rare and very appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Sana Caffe to others. Customer service 100/100 Wait time 2 minutes. Cashier was super helpful even though I didn’t know the menu well .

Sana’a Cafe is a beautiful new spot in town and it has become a favorite. The shop itself is bright, welcoming, and has such a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. The service is outstanding, the staff are friendly and make every visit enjoyable. The coffee is easily the best in town, rich and flavorful with so many different options to choose from. They also have a great selection of pastries. It is the kind of place you walk into once and immediately know you will be coming back.

This place was so amazing! My girlfriend and I had our coffee date here and there service from Roedah, Abby and B was great!! The coffee was top tier! (Try the biscoff latte and almond pastry!) We will definitely be back!!
